General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, July 2, reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will throw a curveball at Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gets help from an unexpected source.

Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) will also make a big admission, so there’ll be a lot happening on Thursday’s exciting GH episode.

In the storeroom at the gallery, Ethan is losing a lot of blood from the bullet he took on his behind.

Ava used a drop cloth to stop the bleeding as best as she could, but she knows they need to get Ethan some real medical help.

Ava will insist they have to do something now, but Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could shoot them both if they come out of hiding.

Ethan will get weak and perhaps a bit delirious, so he’ll end up making a big confession in a moment of vulnerability.

It sounds like Ethan will admit he’s not Phoebe’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) biological father and could perhaps share who her real bio dad is instead.

Meanwhile, Sidwell will continue holding ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) at gunpoint in front of Sonny.

After Sidwell insists he wants to get away, he’ll think Sonny is just the man to help him do that.

Sonny’s priority will be keeping Justine safe and freeing her from Sidwell’s tight grip.

In an effort to throw Sidwell off his game, Sonny may reveal Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) is Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) killer.

Sonny will indeed deliver some huge news, so he may catch Sidwell off guard and use that to his advantage.

Justine and Sonny can work together to get out of this jam alive.

At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) clinic in France, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will tell her that she was right about everything regarding Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).

Anna will be thankful to Felicia for not dismissing her theory and for letting her know it was accurate in the end.

As for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), his heart will break for James West (Gary James Fuller).

James doesn’t know the full story yet, but he knows “Nathan” is going away and probably not coming back.

Cody will lean on Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) for support as he worries about James losing the man he thought was his dad.

Next, Cullum will ask if the unknown element has been contained as he continues lining things up for his Port Charles escape.

However, John Oliver is about to make a dramatic debut in a significant guest-starring role, so it looks like he’ll make his first appearance as “Z,” the leader of the WSB.

You can bet that “Z” has no intention of letting Cullum get away with the cold fusion prototype.

Over with Carly, she’ll continue her confrontation with WSB Agent Harker (Matt Merchant), who’s been ordered to kill her.

Carly is putting up a real fight and will continue to do so, but she may need help from a surprise hero in the end.

There’s a good chance Cassius will pop back up at Wyndemere to fulfill the promise he made to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), so that might give him a chance to save Carly first.

Maybe Carly and Cassius could then go down to the captivity area together.

Regardless, one of Cullum’s men just arrived down there looking quite menacing, so Liesl and Josslyn could use some assistance.
