The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for the week of August 31-September 4 indicate that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will land in a tight spot.

Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) may also dig her heels in when it comes to her view of Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock).

Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) guidance is on the way too, so here’s what fans can expect.

First, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will find that they agree about something.

Brooke and Taylor will have a moment of unity, so Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) should be glad about that.

As for Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), she’ll feel awful about the mess that resulted from Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) trip to Monaco.

If Li hadn’t left John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) airline information where Sheila could see if, maybe all this could’ve been avoided.

Nevertheless, what’s done is done, so that’s what Steffy will keep trying to remind herself despite all her guilt.

Telling Finn the truth would only hurt him now, so Steffy will keep quiet for the sake of her own marriage as well as Carter’s marriage to Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire).

Carter will interrogate Steffy after her latest conversation with Finn, which could lead to Daphne entering a room that’s thick with tension.

Is that why Daphne will end up suspecting something strange is going on with Steffy and Carter?

Carter and Steffy will scramble to cover for now, but it’s clear that the countdown is on when it comes to their secret encounter coming to light.

As for Finn, B&B spoilers suggest he’ll struggle with his family situation.

Cutting off contact with Sheila is necessary if Finn wants to save his future with Steffy, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be easy to completely block his birth mom.

Next, Katie will open up to Bill about the demand she made of Dylan.

Bill may worry about the fireworks that could ensue between Katie and Dylan’s mom once Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan) makes it to Los Angeles.

It turns out Darcy and Katie indeed have a heated confrontation ahead.

Since Katie may double down on her disapproval of Dylan being with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow), that could set Darcy off in a big way.

Darcy will surely rush to Dylan’s defense, but Katie may argue that Dylan can’t be trusted.

After meeting Darcy, Katie may make it clear that she doesn’t trust Dylan’s mother either!

Although Will’s going to seek Bill’s words of wisdom in the midst of this romantic trainwreck, Bill may worry that his son won’t be able to get Katie on board.

Bill might urge Will to explore other options, but Will’s growing feelings for Dylan could be a problem.
