Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of September 7-11 indicate that some big revelations are ahead along with a new cast member’s first episode. There’ll be some erupting tension for multiple characters, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.

As Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) hit Italy, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) may become a third wheel and try to score information of his own about the chessboard mystery.

If EJ does make an Italy visit, he may catch up with the daughter he shares with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).

There are rumblings that Sydney Malakeh might play a Sydney DiMera recast when she makes her DOOL debut on September 9.

Sydney lives in Italy with Sami right now, but maybe she could decide to come live with EJ back in Salem soon enough.

That’d be a great way to kick off Sydney’s newest run on Days.

As for Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), they may finally make it to Monte Carlo for their engagement charade and the poker game that could change everything for the Kiriakis family.

This Italy trip could also unlock some secrets for Chad and Belle as they grow even closer.

Unfortunately, it looks like more custody drama is brewing for Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins).

Although Alex is determined to figure out a solution, Joy has contacted Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and may be on the verge of making another bold move.

Since Alex let Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) babysit Kelsey Kiriakis (Lena and Mira Chase), Days spoilers suggest that news may not go over well with Joy either.

Next, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) will remain rattled over getting held at knifepoint in a mugging incident.

Thankfully, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) was there to leap into action and take the criminal down.

Lani proved she’s still got some serious skills that could perhaps help with a new career.

Since the twins are starting kindergarten, Lani has already been thinking about ways to fill her time.

Lani can’t rejoin the police force due to her previous felony conviction, but maybe she could do some private security work or even work for Tate Black (Leo Howard) teaching self-defense classes.

Tate’s business is picking up, so maybe he could use the extra help.

Of course, Days spoilers say Holly will still be baffled over Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) and the attitude he keeps giving her.

It’s obvious Mason has some sort of issue with Holly, so what will it turn out to be?

This could relate to Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) demise or maybe even Holly’s father since there have been some Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian) mentions lately.

It’s possible Mason is holding some grudge over Dr. Jonas’ treatment of a family member years ago or something else that isn’t Holly’s fault.

The fact that Holly’s last name is Jonas may have triggered some resentment for Mason.

Whatever the case, Holly may ultimately confront Mason and demand to know what his problem is.
