Could Jack Brennan Fake His Death and Return With a Shocking Secret?? General Hospital Spoilers
General Hospital Spoilers: Could Jack Brennan Fake His Death and Return With a Shocking Secret?
Ava Jerome may believe she is finally eliminating one of her biggest threats, but a shocking new General Hospital theory suggests Jack Brennan could be several steps ahead of her. What if Brennan’s apparent death is actually part of an elaborate plan—and mysterious newcomer Simon is secretly working with him?
Ava has increasingly desperate reasons to neutralize Brennan, particularly with Drew Cain also caught up in the dangerous situation. If Ava drugs Brennan’s drink, she may intend only to incapacitate the WSB operative long enough for Drew to search his hotel room for damaging information.

But the situation could take a dramatic turn if Brennan appears to die from the poisoning.
Ava would understandably panic, believing that her attempt to control the situation has turned into murder. The discovery of Brennan’s body could send shockwaves through Port Charles and leave Ava terrified that her involvement will eventually be uncovered.
However, this theory suggests the body may not actually be Brennan.
Brennan is an experienced intelligence operative who would presumably understand the dangers surrounding him. He could anticipate Ava’s attempt and secretly arrange for a decoy body to be used in his apparent death. If the authorities believe Brennan has been killed, he would suddenly have the ultimate advantage: the ability to operate completely from the shadows.
That is where Simon could become particularly important.

On the surface, Simon is simply a music producer who has arrived in Port Charles to discover new talent. But could there be far more to his story? One possibility is that Simon is actually Brennan’s secret son and a highly trained operative working undercover.
His music-industry career would provide an ideal cover, allowing him to move through Port Charles without immediately attracting suspicion. While everyone sees Simon as a charismatic producer, he could secretly be gathering information for his father.
If Brennan successfully fakes his death, Simon could become his connection to the outside world. The two could work together to collect evidence against their enemies while everyone else believes Brennan is gone.

Drew could be particularly vulnerable to this strategy. If he assumes Brennan has been permanently removed as a threat, Drew may become careless. He could take greater risks, leaving behind evidence of his corporate schemes and questionable alliances. Meanwhile, Brennan and Simon could quietly document everything.
Ava would also be completely unaware that her supposed victory was actually part of Brennan’s plan. She could spend weeks consumed by guilt, believing she killed a powerful federal operative, while Brennan watches from a secure location.
The ultimate payoff would be Brennan’s dramatic return.
Imagine Ava and Drew finally believing their problems are behind them, only for Brennan to suddenly walk through the door alive and completely in control. Even more shocking would be Simon stepping out behind him and abandoning his friendly music-producer persona.
If Simon were revealed as Brennan’s son and trusted operative, the revelation could establish an entirely new power structure in Port Charles.
Of course, this remains a theory rather than confirmed storyline information. Brennan could genuinely survive an attempted poisoning, or Simon could independently decide to protect him. But General Hospital has never been afraid of elaborate fake deaths, secret identities and unexpected returns from the supposedly dead.
If Brennan really is planning his own disappearance, Ava and Drew may soon discover that believing their enemy is dead was their biggest mistake.
