The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 7-11 reveal that a fresh romance seems to be in the works.

There’ll also be a scandalous situation that stays under wraps along with a big revelation that could change one Genoa City resident’s life.

For starters, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will have a chance to react to a shocker.

After Diane and Jack’s getaway takes a stunning turn, their romantic bubble may burst.

It’s possible Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will whisk Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) off for a getaway in Tahiti.

If that’s the case, maybe Matt and Phyllis could be the ones who cause some chaos for Jack and Diane to contend with.

Whatever the case, Diane and Jack will deal with some vacation drama while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) faces more temptation back in Genoa City.

Kyle and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) won’t be able to shut down their mutual attraction, so they’ll keep surrendering to their burning desires behind closed doors.

Y&R spoilers say Victoria and Kyle will manage to keep this fling a secret from their families for now, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be smooth sailing.

There’ll inevitably be some tricky questions and close calls to contend with along the way.

As for Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), they’ll focus on doing a deep dive into this Chancellor situation and try to find out what they might be missing.

Is there some worse secret that could come back to bite the Abbotts?

Despite Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) decision to back off his Chancellor pursuit, Lily and Cane will keep up their preparations for when he inevitably resumes it.

Knowing Billy as well as we do, he may even have a hard time keeping his promise to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) about giving up his Chancellor fight until the baby’s born.

If Billy tries to do something sneaky related to Chancellor behind Sally’s back, that could stir up some conflict between them.

As for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll learn his surgery outcome after Dr. Price operates on his hand.

Will Nate get good news about the procedure working and a hopeful report about being to resume his work as a surgeon?

There may be a little recovery time before Nate knows for sure where things stand, but Stephane Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will be there to support him no matter what.

Nate and Stephanie could potentially lock lips if they end up celebrating his return to the OR soon.

Although Devon Winters (Bryton James) may support Nate’s apparent romantic interest in Stephanie, he won’t be happy about Cane and Lily growing closer.

Devon may soon learn Lily and Cane are officially a couple again, so that could lead to an angry meltdown.
