The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 1, reveal that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will have a proposal for Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) to consider.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also struggle with some sudden concerns when some baby drama strikes for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

For starters, Sally will open up to Billy about some worries she has regarding their next chapter.

Billy promised that his focus would be on their upcoming wedding and all the baby plans that still need to be made.

Billy may assure Sally that he’s still all in on those preparations, but she’ll point out that his Chancellor mission is already taking up a lot of his time.

Things may not get much better if Billy succeeds in taking over Chancellor like he plans.

Billy will do his best to reassure Sally on Tuesday’s show, but bigger problems are brewing since she’ll experience some painful abdominal cramps.

Sally will quickly assume her baby’s life is in jeopardy, so she may need a pregnancy-related checkup at the hospital ASAP.

Billy will panic over Sally’s ordeal, but he may cover up his fears and try to be Sally’s rock during the scary moments ahead.

As for Patty, Y&R spoilers say she’ll be curious about the reason for Matt’s visit.

Following Matt’s arrival outside Patty’s cell on Monday’s episode, he’ll have a chance to make a tempting pitch to her on Tuesday’s show.

Will Matt want Patty’s help taking down Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)? Will Patty wantssome escape assistance in exchange?

Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll turn to someone unexpected for guidance.

If Phyllis goes to Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) for help with her missing Matt problems, that would certainly qualify as surprising!

Phyllis loathes Christine, but her desire for answers regarding Matt may matter more than the disdain she’s always going to feel for Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damian) wife.

However, it looks like Matt will reach out to Phyllis himself during the week of August 31-September 4, which could lead to him spilling big news about his plans.
