The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 31 to September 11, reveal that some Genoa City residents will take gambles while others get trapped in tight spots or face difficult choices.

During the week of August 31-September 4, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will rip into Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) during her visit to see him at the rehab clinic.

Since Phyllis’ main goal will be trying to investigate Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) disappearance, Nick will push her to let it go since he still views Matt as dangerous.

Later, Phyllis will seek assistance from someone surprising, so we’ll see if that might be Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) or someone else.

Regardless, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will have concerns about Phyllis’ behavior.

Matt will make some troubling moves of his own since he’ll meet with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) before he finally reconnects with Phyllis and divulges his plans.

It looks like Matt’s shady side may be coming back out to play, but Phyllis will still keep secrets for him.

After Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has a baby-related scare, it could be enough to convince Billy to take a step back from his Chancellor fight.

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn)) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will get some unexpected news from Billy, so he may admit he’s standing down for now.

Back at the rehab facility, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will visit and most likely have a tense encounter with Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow).

Nick will also get stuck in a compromising situation, so that could involve a kiss with Marie or even a drug-related discovery.

As for Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she’ll spill something from her history during a conversation with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Sally already knows about Audra’s miscarriage, but Audra may share something else about that difficult time in her life.

Then again, this might relate to the secrets Audra’s keeping about all the drama in Los Angeles with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) instead.

At the park café, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will catch up with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), so they’ll have a chance to discuss her mental health recovery and everything that happened with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).

In Tahiti, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) romantic trip will come with a curveball.

If Patty escapes and figures out where the lovebirds are, she could potentially cause chaos.

Next, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will get some love from his pals and family members ahead of his hand surgery.

Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will be especially supportive, so this could lead to her stepping out of the friend zone with Nate.

The week of September 7-11 could potentially bring a kiss between Nate and Stephanie if Y&R’s ready to go there.

Regardless, Nate’s doctor may have a pretty good idea of how the surgery went in the aftermath and could potentially give him a positive report.

Of course, the real test will be whether Nate’s full range of motion returns once his hand fully heals since that’s what’s needed to resume his surgical career.

Over with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), they won’t be able to resist temptation.

Kyle and Victoria will end up sizzling behind closed doors again, so their secret passion is about to become an ongoing thing.

Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) certainly wouldn’t approve if they knew what was happening between Victoria and Kyle, so that’ll leave the forbidden duo highly motivated to keep things quiet.
