General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of August 31-September 4 indicate that some major Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) drama is about to erupt.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also sink pretty low, but there’ll be some lighter moments thanks to some double daters.

For starters, Drew will shut down Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) hope of calling a truce between Drew and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) while she’s away in Ireland.

Drew will eventually move full-speed ahead with his plan to sneak in Brennan’s room and steal the incriminating evidence, but will Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) catch him in the act?

Jason will indeed help Carly with a situation at the hotel, but there’ll be another one playing out at the closed pool.

Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) decision to go for a swim there could lead to her finding something truly shocking.

After Brennan presumably consumes the drink Ava Jerome (Maura West) drugged, he won’t have a clear head.

Disoriented Brennan could cross paths with someone who wants him gone and become a corpse in the pool by the time Charlotte slips in the water.

Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) will try to convince Charlotte that everything’s going to be OK once she apparently calls him.

Charlotte and Danny may get too spooked to go to the cops, but Danny will confess some news to Jason later.

Of course, if Brennan is indeed a goner, then the police will ultimately get involved.

Since Joe Fitpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will swap information soon, that could be related to the Brennan case.

Regardless, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will speculate with Carly, so they might wind up thinking Drew’s to blame for Brennan’s death.

Drew may worry other people are going to think that as well and decide to frame someone else.

Since Drew will make a move that could help him get payback, could Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) land in hot water as a result?

Multiple witnesses saw and heard Nina giving Brennan an alarming warning recently, so that outburst could come back to haunt her.

A double date night is also on the way at the Metro Court restaurant, so look for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to chat over a meal together.

Once Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) sit down for a meeting, they’ll reach an agreement.

Dante and Lulu may hash some things out when it comes to co-parenting Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and whatever else they need to discuss.

In the aftermath of all the Brennan mayhem, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will frantically work to cover her tracks.

However, GH spoilers say Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will follow her instincts and perhaps find a trail anyway, so stay tuned to see if she might uncover any Ava clues.

As for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll have some legal matters to discuss with Sonny.

If Sonny wins his piers back and any other assets he’s hoping to get out of Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) auction, Alexis may help with the details of his purchases.

General Hospital spoilers say Drew will throw a temper tantrum, so he may not get his way when it comes to the auction outcome.
