Charlotte finds a body, his identity makes her destroy the evidence | General Hospital Spoilers

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) will decide to go for a little dip at the Metro Court pool after dark.

Charlotte won’t let the closed sign deter her as she ultimately dives in the water and tries to have a little end-of-summer fun.

Unfortunately, Charlotte’s plan for a nice swim will inevitably take a wrong turn.

There must be a reason why GH writers are including this, so we have to consider what shocker they might be setting up.

Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is reportedly set to be killed off soon, so that’s something to remember here.

The show’s already been putting the pieces in place to prepare for Brennan’s fatal exit – like when they had Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) publicly threaten him.

Of course, Ava Jerome (Maura West) also drugged Brennan’s drink, so he could find himself feeling extremely drowsy and not at the top of his game once he guzzles it.

Between that and whatever foul play might await Brennan, it’s easy to see how he might find himself facedown in the pool soon enough.

Charlotte will face a shocker in the September 1 episode, so that could really mean the August 31 cliffhanger will involve her finding Brennan’s body.

Will the purpose of Charlotte’s night swim be for her to stumble upon Brennan’s corpse?

It’s not like we really need to see Charlotte swimming unless she’s going to find something that distresses her.

It feels like the pieces are coming into place for Charlotte to be the first person to realize Brennan is dead.

Naturally, there’ll be more story developments to unravel in the aftermath of Charlotte’s discovery.

Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) will get pulled into the drama long with plenty of other characters, so it’ll be interesting to see how it all goes down.

However, Charlotte’s deceased Brennan curveball may be what kicks off the next phase of the storyline.

GH Fans might hear Charlotte scream as she bumps into dead Brennan in the water and understandably freaks out.
