The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, September 7 to September 18, reveal that things will get messy for many Genoa City residents, so let’s discuss the confusing moves and tricky situations to come.

During the week of September 7-11, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have a close call at the Riverbank Motel, where Victoria will have to hide behind a housekeeping cart to avoid Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Following Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) surgery, he’ll show his appreciation to Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) by giving her a sizzling kiss.

Next, Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) power play could help strengthen his empire and perhaps lead to a new company role for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

However, Victor will head down a vengeful road when he plots against the Abbotts again, so he could be risking another romantic blowup with Nikki.

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will eventually push Victoria to give her something besides money if she wants to lock in a deal for those Vibrante patents.

As for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), they’ll meet with Pietro (Jai Rodriguez) and nail down some final choices regarding their upcoming wedding.

At the rehab clinic, Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) will tell the truth about what happened to her husband, Logan Kirkland (Tommy Walker), instead of letting Nick take responsibility when it wasn’t his fault.

Nick will put Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) on the case and voice his gratitude when Michael apparently helps Marie avoid charges.

As for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll get a shock when Adam decides some things without her.

Adam may go along with Victor’s orders at Newman Media and leave Chelsea miffed over being left out of the decision-making process.

At Crimson Lights, Y&R spoilers say Phyllis will be overly nice to Sharon and weird her out.

It’ll leave Sharon worried that Phyllis is up to something, so she may assume it involves Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

However, Matt will confuse Phyllis with some of his upcoming behavior. Phyllis will get some mixed messages, but there could be a good reason for that.

After Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) escapes, she’ll track Matt down at the Riverbank Motel and make trouble for him.

It’s easy to imagine Matt hiding Patty in the bathroom when Phyllis shows up and then trying to send Phyllis on her way.

Once Jack realizes Patty is a fugitive, he’ll launch a scheme to trap her.

Will Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) support Jack’s plan or stand against it?

Diane may reluctantly get on board if Jack decides to fill her in on his plot.

Since it appears another medical scare is coming up for Jack, it’s possible that’ll be fake and serve as a way to draw Patty to the hospital.

The week of September 14-18 will no doubt bring more Patty mayhem as well. Will Patty inflict more damage before she can be neutralized?

As for Kyle and Victoria, their phony Vibrante-Jabot rivalry could turn into a real one involving their feuding families.

Some mutual anger could fire up the spark between Victoria and Kyle even more, so their fling will continue.

Nate and Stephanie will also have a chance to discuss where things stand between them.

Stephanie and Nate may admit their feelings for each other after their first kiss, so we’ll see whether they decide to pursue an actual relationship.

Back with Phyllis and Matt, it may be time to launch the fake Sharon danger and rescue mission.

Will Matt really prove himself to Sharon and the Newmans or is this plot another disaster waiting to happen?
