The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Monday, September 7, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have to think fast after a Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) sighting at the Riverbank Motel.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will also enjoy a sizzling moment with Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) following his surgery.

After Stephanie drives Nate home following his procedure, she’ll warn him not to overdo it while he recovers.

There’ll be some flirty scenes before Nate and Stephanie get interrupted by Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) arrival.

Stephanie will make herself scarce while Nate’s getting his family’s support, but she’ll return later with takeout.

As Nate sits down with Stephanie to watch the recording of his surgery, he’ll share a kiss with her on Monday’s Y&R episode.

At the rehab facility, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will try to claim he’s the one who pushed Marie Kirkland’s (Jade Harlow) husband, Logan Kirkland (Tommy Walker), and accidentally led to his death.

A cop will ask plenty of questions, but Marie will ultimately refuse to let Nick take the fall and spill the story of what really happened.

Marie will end up heading down to the police station for more questioning, so Nick will vow to send Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to be her lawyer.

In Tahiti, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will pay the price for refusing to take Diane Jenkins Abbott’s (Susan Walters) advice about not wearing sandals on their hike.

Jack will struggle with a centipede bite on his toe, so Diane will call a doctor to make sure he’s OK.

After a phone call to Jack’s doctor back home as well, Diane will feel satisfied that he’s fine and joke around with him as they canoodle.

At the Riverbank Motel, Phyllis and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will brainstorm scenarios where he could come to Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) rescue.

Matt will bring up the idea of an allergic reaction, but Phyllis will shut down that because of what happened when Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) caused one for Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

At one point, Matt and Phyllis will near their noisy motel room neighbors, so they’ll know a couple of people are having fun next door.

Of course, Victoria and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be the ones sizzling, so they’ll share some laughs as they strip down for passion again.

Kyle will try to convince Victoria that they could keep sneaking around like this, but she’ll insist this has to end here.

After Victoria parts ways with Kyle, she’ll step outside and hear Phyllis on the phone with Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman).

Victoria will duck behind a nearby laundry cart to avoid being seen and eventually bolt back inside the room Kyle booked.

Once Victoria explains what happened, she’ll panic at the thought of Phyllis finding out about them since she could use this as blackmail material.

Victoria and Kyle will also end up wondering what Phyllis is doing at the Riverbank Motel.

Phyllis will head back inside Matt’s room eventually and reassure him about their redemption plan.

Matt will be grateful to Phyllis as they share a warm moment together.
