The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 1, indicate some scary scenes are coming up for a romantic duo.

Plus, viewers will see some sneaky next steps along with a stunning partnership or two.

Imprisoned Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) is still locked up tight, but Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) visit could open the door to some new opportunities.

Matt will apparently want to plot with Patty, so she could still have a chance at revenge if she plays her cards right.

Patty might even be able to make a quick getaway at some point, but we’ll just have to see how things play out following this Matt meeting.

Since Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is still in the dark on Matt’s whereabouts, she assumes Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are responsible for his disappearance.

However, it looks like Matt’s the one who’s scheming here, so Phyllis is sure to get some surprising news once this story moves forward.

In the meantime, Phyllis may be desperate enough to go to Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) for assistance.

Y&R fans can expect Phyllis to reach out to someone shocking for some words of wisdom, so she may be willing to turn to “Cricket.”

It’s no secret that Phyllis and Christine don’t get along, but Phyllis might put aside most of the animosity due to this Matt situation.

Phyllis may hope for some help taking Victor down for whatever he’s done to Matt and bringing Matt home.

It’ll be interesting to see Phyllis’ reaction once she realizes Matt’s the one with a few tricks up his sleeve this time around.

At the athletic club, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will grumble to Billy Abbott (Iason Thompson) about all the attention he’s been giving to Chancellor Industries.

Although Billy vowed to concentrate on his upcoming nuptials and the little one that’s on the way, Sally will call him out for not keeping his promises.

Billy and Sally’s discussion will come with a terrifying twist since she’ll face a baby-related emergency soon enough.

Sally will be in so much pain that she can’t even stand up properly, so she’ll worry her pregnancy could end in tragedy just like her first one.
