Young and the Restless Comings and Goings: Surprise Visitor, Vets Return
Fans of The Young and the Restless have plenty to look forward to during the week of August 17–21, 2026.
Genoa City is about to become much more crowded as several familiar faces return to the canvas, bringing secrets, emotional reunions, unexpected revelations, and unfinished business with them.
One of the biggest surprises comes later in the week when Tricia Cast returns as Nina Webster. The beloved character is scheduled to appear on Thursday, August 20, when Nina arrives at The Shadow Room and unexpectedly crosses paths with some old friends.
Her return is sure to create excitement among longtime viewers who remember Nina’s complicated history in Genoa City.
Nina’s appearance is particularly intriguing because Cast’s most recent appearance came in November 2025 during a special storyline.

Roger Howarth continues his redemption journey as Matt Clark. On Wednesday, August 19, Matt seeks forgiveness from Sharon Newman, played by Sharon Case. Given Matt’s troubled history and the pain he has caused, earning Sharon’s forgiveness will certainly not be easy.
