Days of Our Lives (DOOL) preview video for the week of August 31-September 4 reveals that one Salemite will imagine she’s a new bride.

There’ll be a special event for many of the fathers and daughters in town as well. Plus, Days fans will see a couple of big shockers that cause some serious drama.

DOOL’s weekly promo kicks off with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) smiling to herself as she daydreams about marrying Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and getting a romantic homecoming.

There’ll be some black-and-white fantasy scenes as Joy imagines what it’d be like to have a wedding and become Alex’s wife.

Days viewers know Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) already holds that title, but Joy could get a chance of her own if Alex’s current marriage ends in divorce.

Next, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will urge Victoria Kiriakis (Angelica Nero) to give Daddy a spin in her new dress, so Victoria will twirl around and get a delighted Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) approval.

Xander will take Victoria to the daddy-daughter dance, where Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) will cut a rug with Charlotte DiMera (Pippa Blaylock), too.

Of course, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will also attend with Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote), so look for the whole crew to show off their dance moves.

Other Days spoilers say a new character named Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) will trade introductions with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), but his entire demeanor will change once he hears her name.

It appears finding out who Holly is will anger Mason, so could he be a friend of Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd)?

Maybe Mason blames Holly for Sophia’s demise just like Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) does.

Regardless, Holly will be taken aback over Mason’s reaction and will wind up sharing some troubling news with Tate Black (Leo Howard) later.

As for Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), she’ll confess to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) that the time they spent at the Italian clinic together wasn’t a coincidence.

Just how much will Cat be willing to spill about her ISA status and connection to EJ?
