Young and the Restless Comings and Goings: Special Guest Is Back

Fans of The Young and the Restless have another reason to tune in during the week of September 7–11, 2026. A familiar guest star is returning to Genoa City, while several other recognizable faces are set to bring new drama, mystery and unexpected developments to the canvas.

One of the most exciting returns is Jai Rodriguez, who reprises his role as Pietro, the larger-than-life party planner known for turning major celebrations into unforgettable events.

Rodriguez first appeared on The Young and the Restless in May 2025, when Pietro helped organize Nikki Newman’s birthday celebration. He later returned in November 2025 to assist with the festivities surrounding Danny Romalotti and Christine Blair’s wedding. Now, Pietro is back once again—and this time, his expertise is needed for another important celebration.

On Tuesday, September 8, Pietro will meet with Billy Abbott and Sally Spectra as the couple makes an important decision concerning their wedding. While Pietro is usually associated with glamorous parties and joyful occasions, his latest appearance could take place against a much more complicated emotional backdrop.

Billy and Sally have endured plenty of challenges, and their decision about the wedding could have consequences for their future together. Pietro’s involvement may provide some lighter moments, but fans should not assume everything will go smoothly.

Meanwhile, Roger Howarth continues his run as the mysterious Matt Clark. His return has already generated considerable interest because Matt is a character with a complicated history and plenty of unfinished business.

On Monday, September 7, Matt reveals his plans for redemption to Phyllis Summers. However, his intentions remain difficult to read. By Friday, September 11, Matt gives Phyllis mixed signals, leaving her—and viewers—wondering whether he can truly be trusted.

But perhaps the most surprising development comes with the return of Stacy Haiduk as Patty Williams.

Patty has never been an ordinary presence in Genoa City. Her unpredictable behavior and troubled history have made her one of the soap’s most memorable characters. Now, remarkably, Patty emerges from the shadows on Thursday, September 10—and she is apparently no longer behind bars.

Even more shocking, Patty pays an unexpected visit to Matt.

That meeting could be explosive. Both characters have complicated pasts, and their interaction may reveal connections or information that could affect Phyllis and others.

With Pietro returning for wedding preparations, Matt promising redemption and Patty suddenly resurfacing, the week of September 7–11 promises to be anything but ordinary.

One thing is certain: Genoa City is about to become a whole lot more complicated.
